Who doesn't love to play with their food?

We have recently purchased a new series from "Checkerboard How-To Library" called "Cool Food Art" and it is amazing! Easy and fun food art snacks for you and your children to make together. My favorite? I thought you'd never ask! I love the Peanut Butter and Jelly Flower. English muffins, PB & J, manadarin oranges, strawberries, bananas, and blueberries! Simple ingredients, and fairly healthy! Never a dull snacktime again! YAY!

JoEllen is "Joe" with her dad on the weekends and "Ellen" with her mom during the week. She (like many children of divorce) feels like she lives two separate lives and neither of them is actually her. Written in free verse poetry, this story is a great suggestion for any girl struggling with her parents' divorce. Nicely done!
