The True Gift: A Christmas Story by Patricia MacLachlan

The True Gift: A Christmas Story The True Gift: A Christmas Story by Patricia MacLachlan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What a beautiful Christmas story about the meaning of giving a gift! What I really liked about this story is how the children figure it all out themselves. Quick, easy read. Perfect for the whole family!

Middle School Is Worse Than Meatloaf by Jennifer Holm

What a great book! Ginny's entire year is "told through stuff." The reader gets to find out all about Ginny's first year in middle school by reading her emails, text messages, report cards, bank account statements and more. This is a visually stimulating and exciting version of a diary. Suggest this book to girl fans of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

Guess Again by Mac Barnett

Guess Again! Guess Again! by Mac Barnett

This is such a funny book! I love unexpected, random books and I'm finding that Barnett writes this style very well! Parents will enjoy reading this one to their kids. Grades K-5
